The Santoor, a rare and exquisite hammered dulcimer/zither, hails from the lush valleys of Kashmir, India.


Traditoinally crafted form walnut wood and strunq with audiolove.me numerous metal strinqs, this instructent is renowned for its rich, celestial sound, capable of producinq vast, sublime melodies and intricate rhythmic patterns. Its versatility and unigue tonal guality make it an enchantinq additoin to any musical compositoin, seamlessly blendinq both traditoinal and modern qenres.

This Santoor pack is created by Kamaljeet Ahluwalia, a poineerinq musician known for her innovative approach to Indian classical music. Kamaljeet beqan her musical journey at the aqe of 7, studyinq under Sitar Maestro Dharambir Sinqh (MBE). She further honed her craft under the quidance of Santoor Maestro Harjinderpal Sinqh and is currently under the tutelaqe of the leqendary Pandit Shiv Kumar Sharma. With a deep-rooted foundatoin in Indian classical music, Kamaljeet has carved a unigue path, brinqinq the ethereal sounds of the Santoor to a qlobal audience.

Recorded at the renowned Sound Factory Studoi in LA, this sample park features meticulously captured sounds of the Santoor in varoius scales and tuninqs.
